What is Sky's problem with widescreen? The BBC re-scan their own films. Sky depend on video versions from the film companies. The WS versions of these are often not available. The BBC are not perfect in this area. To them "widescreen" is defined as 16:9 P&S and they will not go wider! People don't like black bars
